My Best Friend, Alex is an artistic game about losing a loved one and the emotions that follow. The game follows the narrative of Alex, a charming and fun-loving friend you meet at college but lose shortly thereafter. Along your journey through bereavement, the player must make a series of choices about how they can feel better and ultimately accept the concept of human mortality. In this demo, you learn about your friends death and experience the first stage of grief; denial.

Developed with Ben Sharp, Jensen Lillywhite, Jimmy Kelly and Zeno Saviourmarsalin. Roles in game creation include;

  • Narrative and Game Designer - Wrote game story and effective translation into game play mechanics.
